Shannon began her career with Addus in 2004 as a Care Provider. She then added to her duties and became an office Staff Aide, splitting her time with clients and office tasks. In 2007 she was promoted to Staff Coordinator. She has worked diligently toward having the name “Addus” recognized as an outstanding home care agency throughout the three counties which covers 2881 square miles in our area. Over the past year her office has had significant growth in client census and revenue. Shannon has high expectations for the quality of care her clients receive. She is dedicated to making each employee who enters a client’s home the best trained provider of care possible. Always available to assist her co-workers, Shannon believes that the Administrative staff should work with the Care Provider’s as a team. I am much honored to work with Shannon. She is truly a bright light for Addus throughout the Yakima community.

Holly went above and beyond her normal duties and was instrumental in saving the life of one of our clients. The following narrative is from a letter written by a client’s family, “I am writing in regards to the excellent care provided by your company to my mother. Holly Barnes, RN was sent to us to assess and treat a bedsore on my mother’s left shoulder. Upon inspection, Holly said it did not look normal and that she would contact the doctor to have a look at it. She thought it may need to be biopsied. The procedure was done a few days later and was positive for cancer. It was removed and my mother is doing well. Thank you again for all your services and efforts provided by Addus, but most especially we thank Nurse Holly Barnes for possibly saving our mother’s life.

Kadejah has proven time and time again that her job is very important to her. She is very dedicated even though she herself has had to overcome personal health issues, she continues to go forward and is an inspiration to her clients and everyone she is in contact with. All her clients are just as enthusiastic about her. Thank you Kadijah for all that you do for Addus and your clients.

Pat is a very enthusiastic employee who loves helping people. Her clients are like her family and friends and she is very concerned about their well-being. Pat calls the office with her availability and is always willing to fill in as needed. We have many great employees here in Quincy but Pat rises above the rest because of her attitude and her willingness to go above and beyond what is expected.
