Addus provides comprehensive health care services including skilled nursing, personal care aides, and rehabilitation. Addus HealthCare currently holds over 450 home care contracts throughout the country. The company provides health care services to over 25,000 weekly consumers from 129 offices in 19 states.

Recognizing the critically important role our Home Care Aides (HCA’s) play in Addus’ holistic approach to in-home care, and, specifically, in observing and reporting changes in consumers’ conditions, we developed the Addus Dual Advantage model to educate and empower our HCAs, and facilitate their effective execution of this important responsibility. As members of the health care team, we expect our HCA’s to identify, observe and report changes in the consumer’s overall condition, as well as any specific medical or behavioral changes that may require medical intervention, ultimately avoiding potential hospitalization.
